Nottoway County employs a Code Official (Property Maintenance Official) that works with the Towns to enforce their "dangerous building" codes. He also works with the Town of Blackstone to enforce the Town's Rental Property Maintenance Inspections.

All rental property inspections are scheduled for Blackstone by the Blackstone Town Office.
