The Nottoway County Extension Office is a unit within Virginia Cooperative Extension. Its purpose is to provide information to people through educational programs, instruction, and publications to help improve their economic, social, and cultural well-being.

The Nottoway County Extension Office is a source of information for many different subjects, especially in the areas of agriculture, natural resources, family and consumer sciences, as well as 4-H programs.
