CommunicationsNottoway County is served by two local weekly newspapers, the Courier-Record in Blackstone, and the Crewe-Burkeville Journal. Both newspapers have an estimated circulation in excess of 7,000. The Richmond Times Dispatch, Richmond’s daily newspaper, is delivered throughout the county. A Richmond-based weekly, The Voice, is also distributed widely over the county. Two AM/FM radio stations are located in Nottoway County. WKLV(AM 1440)/WBBC (FM 93.5) in Blackstone and WSVS (AM 800)/WVGO (FM 104.7) in Crewe provide listening entertainment and information for everyone. Television reception in the county includes all major network affiliates: ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS. Cable television service is available in all the three towns. |
